Cookie Policy

A short policy, because there is not much to declare. Our marketing site runs no analytics and no advertising trackers, and the application stores only what it needs to keep you signed in.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies — local storage, session storage — do much the same job. This policy covers all of them.

They are usually described in four groups: strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising. It is worth knowing which groups a site actually uses, because most sites tell you far less than the banner implies.

2. On our website

The marketing site at auditax.ai sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. We have not deployed a tracking pixel, and we do not share your visit with an ad network.

This is also why you are not being shown a consent banner: there is nothing here that requires your consent.

Your browser will still keep the ordinary things a browser keeps — a cache, and any preference you set yourself. We do not read them.

3. In the application

Signing in to the AudiTax platform stores an authentication token in your browser or device. This is strictly necessary: without it, every page you open would ask you to sign in again.

PurposeTypeWhy it exists
Authentication tokenStrictly necessaryKeeps you signed in between pages and sessions
Session and UI stateStrictly necessary / functionalRemembers interface preferences such as your last view
Push notification token (mobile)FunctionalDelivers alerts to the device, where you enabled them

None of these are used to track you across other websites.

4. Third parties

Payments run through Stripe. When you reach a payment step, Stripe may set its own cookies to process the transaction and to detect fraud — that is Stripe's processing, governed by Stripe's own policies.

We do not embed social media widgets, live chat, or third-party video on the marketing site, so none of those set anything here.

5. If this changes

We may add product analytics in future to understand how the platform is used. If we do, we will update this page before it goes live and, where consent is required, ask for it through a banner that lets you decline without losing access to the site.

We will not add advertising trackers to the platform.

6. Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings, and offers a private browsing mode that discards them when you close it.

Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop you being able to sign in to the platform. That is not a dark pattern — it is what the token is for. Everything else can be blocked without breaking anything.

7. Contact

AudiTax is a product operated by WalQalum Technologies LLC. Questions about this policy: info@auditax.ai, or hello@auditax.ai for anything else. Our Privacy Policy covers the wider question of what we do with personal data.
